Café Partner Success Standards

What you get

  • A regular revenue stream of new customers making at least one order with every visit
  • An extended stay customer segment that will fill empty seats and add ambiance to the café
  • The ability to choose the maximum number of members you want at any point in time, and their maximum stay period (at least 2 hours)
  • The ability to offer students any students above your pre-defined quota a seat if you like; it’s totally at your discretion

What we expect of you

  • Honour the session time, don’t try to move on members before their time is up
  • Don’t put any pressure on café laptop workers to make additional purchases during their session time
  • Honour a free coffee on their tenth check-in (they’ll show you a screen with a ‘free coffee’ sign at their tenth check-in)

How to use ‘café workplace’

  • You get to choose how long students can stay (minimum of 2 hours) and how many students you want per time-period; we’ll set it up up front and you can edit it on this website. We start with a maximum of 5 students per session
  • After your self-designated quota is ‘full’, when a new member signs in, they will see a message on their screen that the café quota is met and they should book in advance next time. If you want to step in here and tell them they’re still welcome on the day for the full period that’s at your discretion
  • Some students will book in advance; such sessions will reduce numbers remaining from your quota, so if you had 3 seats and one booking for that period, the system will show you as having 2 seats. Again it’s up to you what you want to do if an additional student arrives and asks to stay during one of these fully booked periods
